Receive up to $600 per incident (up to 2 claims and a maximum $1,000 within a 12-month timeframe) on a mobile device within your phone plan.
Login to your UCCU Elevated Checking and grab your Elevated Checking Identity Code. You can then call the number provided to submit your request to restore or replace your device!

Yes. UCCU’s cell phone coverage is based off of the phones value rather than the brand of phone you have. Whether you have the latest phone or have used the same phone for the last 5 years, UCCU will cover up to $600 per claim (max $1,000 within a 12-month time-period). Yes. UCCU’s Elevated Checking Cell Phone Protection includes coverage extended to the primary line and also up to three secondary additional, or supplemental lines as listed on your cellular provider’s monthly billing statement. Note that only two claims may be made within a 12-month period.
Yes. The Cell Phone protection can also be used as supplemental insurance in part with any other active cell phone protection plans you may be on. To receive UCCU’s Cell Phone Protection, you may also be reimbursed up to $600 per incident (up to $1,000 within a 12-month timeframe).
For example, Let’s say your phone is damaged and your total replacement cost is $1200. If your own personal phone coverage pays for $900 in repair costs, then you will be required to pay the final $300 out of pocket. If you submit a claim with UCCU’s Cell Phone Protection, then you can submit your out of pocket receipt for a potential $300 dollar reimbursements.
Note that coverage of your device by your personal phone plan may be different than the UCCU Cell Phone Protection plans.

Cellular Telephone Protection – Receive up to $600 of replacement or repair costs if your cell phone is stolen or damaged, in the U.S. and abroad. $50 deductible applies. Up to two claims and maximum of $1,000 per twelve month period. Covers up to four phones on a cellular telephone bill. (Cellular telephone bill must be paid using your Elevated Checking account.
